Tenute di Pecille comprises Villa Pecille and La Rota farmhouse, 2 traditional stone buildings nestling amongst the organic vineyards of the prestigious Fontodi winery in the splendid Conca d'Oro valley of Panzano in Chianti. Both buildings have been meticulously restored preserving the classic Tuscan atmosphere while offering all modern comforts.
There are a total of 8 completely independent apartments providing a perfect base for guests who wish to explore Tuscany or who may simply want to relax in the tranquillity of the stunning Chianti countryside surrounded by green rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves and woodland.
Villa Pecille
Villa Pecille is an elegant 17th century building overlooking the Conca d'Oro valley. The Villa is now composed of 5 completely independent apartments, each with a private outdoor area.
The centuries-old La Rota farmhouse is situated among the organic vineyards of the Fontodi winery, in the Conca d'Oro valley. The farmhouse contain 3 charming independent apartments, each with a private outdoor area.
Tenute di Pecille are owned by Giovanna Manetti, descendant of an old Chianti family of entrepreneurs, owner of the Azienda Agricola Fontodi, one of the most prestigious wine estates in Chianti Classico, recipient of numerous and continuous awards at an international level. In the early 1990s Giovanna Manetti, together with her family, decided to restore 2 of the old farm buildings on the wine estate and convert them into self-catering apartments for holidays.
The traditional business of the Manetti family is the production of quality Florentine terracotta tiles (they furnished the roof tiles for the dome of the Cathedral of
Florence), an activity to which they have been dedicated for over three hundred years.
